Like I Love Him

my new nephew that is. but lordy, the little fellow is a gas bomb of epic proportions. and since it's been close to seven years since i've been around a newborn, i had spaced the whole feed them every two hours, constantly change their diapers, etc. no need for birth control as their is no way i would go through all that work.

and yes, kids are cute, but damn are they a ton of work. and super gassy.

For What It's Worth, I'm Back

i never thought i would take such a long break, but there was a terrible shitfest that occurred at work that caused me much heartache, loss of sleep, and ridiculous hordes of anxiety. and i don't feel like rehashing it here, as i'm trying to put it behind me. the next time i feel like i need to write a diatribe believe you me, i'll put it all out here.

for now, i would like to just say, i missed writing. being here. having an outlet. i get that besides the adorable one, anyone that might have tuned in, is probably long gone. but if you're still with me, i'm back and have oodles of book reviews to share, plus i must declare my devotion to the new hilarious andy richter show, "andy barker p.i.", and the the usual amount of ramblings about nothing much.

that's it for now, but i'll post pics from our recent jaunt to the super-chilly hamlet of plymouth, minnesota where we visited my sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and brand-new nephew.
